We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis but are sure to remove data when it is no longer required except for the reasons it was provided. We use only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service which you have signed up to. Please be reassured that we will not release your information to third parties for them to use for their own direct marketing purposes, unless you have requested us to do so, or we are required to do so by law, for example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime.
Third party product providers we use include:
MailChimp
GoogleDocs
Square Space
Date Control
The Sutton Insight team has it’s own data controllers. As such and unlike other bodies we do not share or pass your data or information without consent. By this we mean that when you sign up to a petition, your information is not accessibility to the Labour Party or other involved bodies unless you specifically give consent for this. We provide clear opt ins for each body. We do this to ensure transparency and to work with other bodies that may not be political in nature. Where an indepedent third party is listed on a petition, there will be an opt in to share your information with them. We do this to help less sophisticated bodies keep up to date with people who have stated they are interested in hearing more from them. Similarly, a sign up to hear back from Sutton Insight is not a sign up to hear from the Labour Party or another body listed and vice versa.
