The Lib Dem Lake Strikes Again!

The Lib Dem Lake in Wallington claims another poor victim as a work van falls victim to decades of council failure!

It’s 2020, we know what we’re in for now. We’ve had a pandemic, we’ve had mask deniers, we’ve had children’s dreams shattered by the Tory government. Now it’s only fitting that the Lib Dem Lake returns in all its glory to claim another victim!

The Lib Dem Lake Legacy is an impressive one, stretching back almost 30 years, claiming victims when they least expect it. So why does it keep happening? Well Lib Dem Jayne McCoy should know, Wallington South being her Ward and all! But it was fixed last time - they promised. It’s just a drainage issue, we’ll clean the gutters, the soakaways aren’t big enough! Please remember the Tory cuts! We’ll only increase Council Tax by 20% next year - we promise! Whilst it’s always great to see Wallington in the news, perhaps it could be for something else rather than our own ‘Bermuda Triangle’ or would that be too easy?

The irony of the website branded on the van “by water transport” is not wasted on onlookers as the Lib Dem Lake is cordoned off by residents aware of the damage the Lib Dems, or rather the lake, pose.

If you’re hoping to get around Wallington or even Hackbridge today, beware the Lib Dem Lake, the ensuing traffic, and the deceptive road side puddles out to claim another victim. Of course, if you’re as tired of this as we are, perhaps consider a different vote come election time? Tory cuts and Lib Dem failures are certainly begining to stack up!
